Online purchasing policy

The Lymphedema Association of Québec (LAQ) operates and manages the infolympho.ca and infolympho.ca websites. All purchases made through these sites are governed by the terms of use stipulated in this policy.

Acceptance of terms of use

By making an online purchase, you acknowledge that you have read these terms of use and agree to abide by them, as well as any changes that may be made to them.

General terms and conditions of online purchase

1. Creating an account
It is not necessary to create an account to make an online purchase. LAQ members are invited to use the Members section to complete their transactions.

2. Privacy
The LAQ makes every effort to protect the personal information it receives. To learn more about the measures taken by the LAQ, consult our Privacy Policy. As a member, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, personal information and password. The LAQ shall not be liable for any damages arising from the unauthorized use of your member account.

3. Prices and sales taxes
Prices listed on the LAQ website are in Canadian dollars. Prices of items and subscriptions exclude taxes. The LAQ reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice.

4. Secure online payment
Your online shopping is secured by PayPal. All transactions made through our website are payable by PayPal only.

Returns and delivery

The LAQ guarantees all products offered for sale on the online store. Orders are delivered by Canada Post within 2 to 3 business days of receipt. It takes approximately 5 to 7 working days from the time the order is placed to receipt.
If you are not satisfied with a product purchased on our platform, you can return it to us and obtain a refund or an item of the same value in exchange. You have 7 days from the date of receipt of your purchases to exchange an item that does not suit you. Contact us by email at aql@infolympho.ca to obtain an exchange authorization. No returns will be accepted without this authorization. All return details will be communicated to you by email or telephone.

Products damaged in transit

If you receive a product damaged in transit, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the order to report it and receive a new delivery of the same products. You will need to provide proof of purchase and follow the return process. No refunds will be issued, exchanges only. The return of a product that does not correspond to a valid order or that cannot be justified by an error on our part or by the delivery will be refused. You are responsible for paying the return postage. We strongly advise you to use a priority mail service providing a tracking number (we are not responsible for lost packages).

Special Terms and Conditions “Purchasing” a membership

Once you have purchased a membership online (new or renewal), you will receive confirmation of the transaction by email. The membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase. You will receive your membership card approximately three weeks after payment of your membership. If you lose your membership card, you can obtain a new one by calling 514 979-2463 / 1 866 979-2463, for a fee of $5.
Membership cards are personal and non-transferable. In addition, only the member may take advantage of the benefits offered. Cards remain the property of the LAQ and must be returned on request. When presenting your membership card, you may be asked to show proof of identity. Memberships purchased online are non-refundable, except in the event of a billing error on the part of the LAQ. In such cases, any refund will be made using the same method of payment used for the purchase. If you have added a donation to your purchase, a tax receipt will be issued only for the amount of the donation, starting at $10. The receipt will be sent to you in a separate email
following your purchase.

Privacy policy

At the LAQ, we respect your privacy and protect your personal information. This information is never sold, exchanged or loaned to other organizations. We use
personal information solely for the purposes of delivering our services, informing you of our activities and processing your donations or issuing tax receipts. If, at any time, you no longer wish us to communicate with you, simply inform us at aql@infolympho.ca and we will respect your instructions. The personal information we collect is kept in a secure environment, and each member of our team is required to respect the confidentiality of your information.
We collect the following information:

– First name, Last name
– Mailing address, postal code
– email address
– Telephone number

We also offer newsletter communication. You can choose to sign up to receive our offers and news by clicking here. At any time, you can decide to remove yourself from our mailing list.
